How can we help you?

Find answers to common questions about proxy setup, billing, technical support, security, performance, and account management.

Getting Started

Basic setup and first steps

What are proxy servers and how do they work?

Proxy servers act as intermediaries between your device and the internet. When you make a request through a proxy, it forwards your request to the target server and returns the response back to you. This masks your real IP address and location, providing anonymity and allowing you to bypass geo-restrictions.

What's the difference between Residential, Datacenter, and ISP proxies?

Residential proxies use IP addresses from real residential devices, making them highly authentic but slower. Datacenter proxies are hosted in data centers, offering high speed but less authenticity. ISP proxies combine the best of both - they're fast like datacenter proxies but have the authenticity of residential IPs as they're registered under ISP names.

How do I set up my first proxy connection?

1. Purchase a proxy plan from our shop. 2. Access your dashboard to view proxy credentials. 3. Configure your application or browser with the proxy IP, port, username, and password. 4. Test the connection to ensure it's working properly. We provide detailed setup guides for popular browsers and applications.

How do I authenticate my proxy connections?

We use username/password authentication for all our proxy services. You'll find your unique credentials in your dashboard after purchasing a plan. Each proxy plan has its own set of credentials. Simply enter these in your proxy configuration settings.

What should I buy for my first proxy plan?

For beginners, we recommend starting with our Residential Proxy plan if you need high success rates for web scraping or data collection. If you need speed for high-volume tasks, start with Datacenter Proxies. ISP Proxies are ideal if you need both speed and authenticity for premium applications.

Billing & Plans

Payments, subscriptions, and pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and various cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

How does billing work?

Our billing is based on usage and plan type. Residential proxies are billed per GB of data used, while Datacenter and ISP proxies are billed monthly per IP. Data never expires on residential plans, and you only pay for what you use.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 24-hour money-back guarantee for new customers. If you're not satisfied with our service within the first 24 hours, contact support for a full refund. Refunds are not available for used data on residential plans after the 24-hour period.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade your plan at any time. For downgrades, changes will take effect at your next billing cycle. Unused data on residential plans carries over, and you can always add more data or IPs as needed.

How can I download my invoices?

You can download all your invoices from your dashboard under the Billing section. We also email invoices automatically after each payment. For bulk invoice downloads or custom invoice formats, contact our support team.

How does auto-renewal work?

Auto-renewal is enabled by default for monthly plans to ensure uninterrupted service. You can disable auto-renewal in your dashboard settings. We'll send email reminders 7 days and 1 day before renewal.

Technical Support

Configuration and troubleshooting

Why can't I connect to the proxy?

Common issues include: 1. Incorrect credentials - double-check your username/password. 2. Firewall blocking the connection - whitelist our proxy ports. 3. ISP restrictions - try different ports (we provide multiple). 4. Application misconfiguration - ensure you're using the correct proxy type (HTTP/HTTPS/SOCKS5).

Why are my proxy speeds slow?

Speed depends on several factors: 1. Proxy type - Datacenter proxies are fastest, residential are slower but more authentic. 2. Geographic distance - choose proxies closer to your target websites. 3. Server load - try different proxy endpoints. 4. Your internet connection - test without proxy to compare speeds.

What should I do if my IP gets blocked?

If an IP gets blocked: 1. Switch to a different IP from your pool. 2. For residential proxies, the IP will automatically rotate. 3. Reduce request frequency to avoid triggering anti-bot measures. 4. Use session management to maintain consistency. 5. Contact support if blocks persist.

Which protocols do you support?

We support HTTP, HTTPS, and SOCKS5 protocols across all our proxy types. SOCKS5 is recommended for applications requiring UDP support or enhanced security. HTTP/HTTPS are perfect for web browsing and API calls.

How many concurrent connections can I make?

Concurrent connection limits vary by plan: Residential proxies allow unlimited concurrent connections per GB purchased. Datacenter and ISP proxies allow unlimited connections per IP. We recommend staying within reasonable limits to maintain performance.

How do sticky sessions work?

Sticky sessions maintain the same IP address for a specified duration. For residential proxies, sessions can last up to 72 hours, but we recommend a maximum of 45 minutes for optimal performance and rotation. To maintain a session, include a session identifier in your requests. This is useful for websites that track user behavior or require consistent identity.

Security & Privacy

Account security and data protection

Do you log my browsing data?

We have a strict no-logs policy. We don't monitor, record, or store any of your browsing activity or personal data that passes through our proxies. We only keep minimal connection logs for service optimization and abuse prevention, which are automatically deleted after 24 hours.

Are proxy connections encrypted?

HTTPS and SOCKS5 connections are encrypted end-to-end. HTTP connections are not encrypted by default, but you can use HTTPS websites through HTTP proxies for encryption. For maximum security, we recommend using SOCKS5 proxies with your own encryption.

How can I secure my account?

To secure your account: 1. Use a strong, unique password. 2. Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in your account settings. 3. Regularly monitor your usage and billing. 4. Don't share your proxy credentials. 5. Log out from shared devices.

How do I prevent IP leaks?

To prevent IP leaks: 1. Disable WebRTC in your browser. 2. Use a VPN alongside proxies for double protection. 3. Test for leaks using online tools before important tasks. 4. Configure DNS to use proxy DNS servers. 5. Disable IPv6 if not needed.

How do you ensure ethical proxy sourcing?

All our residential IPs are ethically sourced with full consent from device owners. We partner with legitimate companies and applications that clearly disclose proxy usage to users. We never use malware, botnets, or compromised devices. Our ISP and datacenter proxies are hosted on our own infrastructure.

Performance

Speed optimization and best practices

How can I optimize proxy performance?

To optimize performance: 1. Choose the right proxy type for your use case. 2. Select proxy locations closest to your target websites. 3. Use connection pooling to reuse connections. 4. Implement proper retry logic with exponential backoff. 5. Monitor and switch problematic IPs. 6. Use session management effectively.

What success rates can I expect?

Success rates vary by proxy type and target website: Residential proxies typically achieve 95-99% success rates. Datacenter proxies achieve 90-95% for most sites. ISP proxies achieve 98-99% success rates. Rates may be lower for heavily protected sites like social media platforms.

How should I handle rate limiting?

For rate limiting: 1. Implement delays between requests (1-5 seconds recommended). 2. Rotate IPs frequently to distribute load. 3. Use random user agents and headers. 4. Respect robots.txt and website terms of service. 5. Monitor response codes and adjust accordingly.

How does geographic targeting work?

We offer city-level targeting for residential proxies and country-level targeting for all proxy types. You can specify target locations when generating proxies. This is useful for accessing geo-restricted content or testing localized services.

Do you provide load balancing?

Yes, we automatically load balance across our proxy infrastructure. For residential proxies, requests are distributed across available IPs in your target location. For datacenter and ISP proxies, you can implement your own load balancing across multiple IPs.
